Hey Streetcraft,
I’m Gordon, a creative artist and urbanism hobbyist located in Columbus, Ohio. Fulfilling my enthusiasm for transportation, I currently work on the emergency snow removal crew at John Glenn International Airport.
I’ve been a subscriber to your YouTube channel since the first video and continue to watch every video. The quality is awesome, and I’d love to join your team to help shape the future journey. On this page, I’ve created a showcase of some of my previous work that I think you’ll find most relevant to the Story Producer role. Please enjoy these career highlights!
Executive Producer - Tracker Podcast
In 2024, I collaborated with an expert host to conceive and launch a podcast from concept to distribution on over 20 media and streaming sites including Spotify and Apple Podcasts. As sole producer of weekly 30-60-minute episodes I researched scripts, engineered recordings, and edited audio.
Additionally, I completed sundry tasks such as building a website, composing a theme song, and securing media credentials and athlete interview access at major events.
Creative Director / Story Producer - Mission: Treasure
In 2020, I conceived of Mission: Treasure, an epic 3-day immersive treasure hunt in Cincinnati, Ohio as a joint venture with my brother as the business brains and me as the creative force.
I masterminded the entire gameplay experience from the backstory to the puzzles including over ten fictional characters, pages of written content like emails and diary entries, and custom-designed clue documents printed and mailed to participants.
In addition to the gameplay material, I wrote copy for customer service, marketing, and public relations purposes - even appearing on local television to promote the event.
The one-time experience sold over 1,300 family tickets and was rated five out of five stars in a post-event survey by 94% of responding participants.
Tour Guide - Experience First
From 2022 - 2023 I gave tours of Greenwich Village in New York City as a guide for one of the leading walking tour providers: Experience First.
As a trainee, I was given a Google Doc outline of the stops and significance that I needed to turn into a fleshed out 2-hour experience. We were actively encouraged to inject our personalities into the material, so I spent several days researching and understanding not only the key points but also framing a cohesive narrative to explain how the neighborhood evolved.
Depending on the season, tour groups could be as many as 25 people or as few as one. The variance in number of guests and their geographic origin meant that I gave a different version of the tour every day, adapting material on the fly to account for different energy levels and existing knowledge.
The reviews speak for themselves! Check out some of my 5-star reviews on Trip Advisor below:
Finally, please enjoy this old video of a video I researched, wrote, and edited for a high school project. It’s over a decade old, but I wanted to include it as a fun addition showing my passion for educational and entertaining videos like the ones at Streetcraft.
